About Me

My name is Erika Just and I am graduating from Kansas State University in May 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Services. I graduated high school in 2013 so I am finishing my bachelor’s degree in three years. Education has always been very important to me and has always been a priority of mine to do well. One of my favorite quotes is, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Martin Luther King, Jr. I believe that having faith to step out of my comfort zone has gotten me to where I am now. My faith is what has led me to graduating with a bachelor’s in Family Studies and Human Services and also to becoming a Certified Family Life Educator. It is my passion to help those in need and becoming a CFLE allows me to work in a profession where helping others is the main goal. I enjoy helping people from a wide range of backgrounds and areas of need, and can envision an effective and fulfilling career in a variety of settings. I am especially interested in pursuing opportunities in health care or working with families with young children. My main passion is helping children and helping those with health issues. I have always had a heart for children and a heart for those who are hurting. I am excited for where my future will take me and I am sure of who holds my future.
